Text Box: My father always told me that he had raised crowned canaries as a young man in his native Cuba, but had never seen it since immigrating to the states. When I took up the fancy a few years ago I knew right away that dad had been speaking of the Gloster Canary, one look at this bird and I was hooked. The Gloster comes in two forms the Corona and its companion the Consort.
